I have always loved animals, especially dogs. The relationship between man and our canine friends is a really special one.

I didn’t realise until I started grooming dogs in 2003, that the relationship between a dog and it’s groomer can be different.

Not all owners can give as much attention as they would like, especially when we all lead very busy lives.

Often when reluctant dogs, for example rescue dogs, come for their first grooming session they are very nervous and wary.

At Comfi-coats we can offer very gentle and patient handling.

After a few grooming sessions they begin to relax and are not so stressed. As a qualified groomer I find this very rewarding.

I like to think the dogs that come to my salon are treated as their owners would treat them. With patience, love and understanding.
